Migration agents practicing in Australia are legally obliged to be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). Requirements for registration with MARA include Australian citizenship, a Bachelor of Laws degree from an Australian university and/or a sound knowledge of Australian migration law. Registered migration agents are subject to a Code of Conduct which requires agents to keep their knowledge of Australian migration legislation current and to provide accurate and timely advice to clients. Susan Sandhoff Badertscher, Registered Migration Agent No 9791613 was formerly engaged as Immigration Office Manager for the Department of Immigration and Citizenship at the Australian Consulate Berne Switzerland prior to its closure in 1997.
Susan is an Australian educated lawyer, admitted as Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia in 1993. Susan speaks German and English, and has experience in Australia’s skilled, business and family migration programs as well as employer sponsored and entertainment visa options.
Emil Badertscher, Registered Migration Agent No 0318572 is a Swiss educated Economist and Australian citizen. Emil has experience with all classes of migration, and specializes in business and skilled migration applications. Emil speaks German, French and English.
