Temporary Business Entry
This category allows temporary entry for highly skilled applicants with an Australian or overseas business with approved sponsorship status.

Temporary Business entry is applicable for employees of an overseas business seeking entry to Australia to establish a branch, joint venture, agency distributorship, or subsidiary branches in Australia.

Entertainment, Film and Media
Persons in the entertainment industry who intend to work on feature film, television or live productions need to apply for an entertainment visa and obtain sponsorship approval from Australian Government and Union authorities. Film and media staff involved in the production of a documentary or commercial need to apply for a Film and Media Staff visa.

Student
You need to apply for a Student Visa if you want to study for longer than three months at an Australian educational institution in Australia. For courses of study of three months or less, you may enter Australia on a Tourist Visa.

Retirement
A Retirement visa allows temporary retirement to Australia for 4 years. You can apply for a further stay at the end of the 4 years. Regulations currently allow a further stay of 2 years at a time. You must be 55 years of age or older, have no dependent family members other than a spouse and you must be financially independent.
